Hi friends! Welcome to my little corner of the world!! I am thrilled that you are here!! My name is Sharea Overman! I am located near Lafayette, Indiana! I am a mom of three little boys and I'm married to my college sweetheart! I love traveling, camping, Starbucks is life, wine, and I am a true crime junkie! If I'm not listening to a true crime podcast (Morbid is my fav!!), then I am listening to my favorite band, Hollow Coves! I am an empath and I love HARD! I love to plant flowers in the spring, but I suck at keeping them alive!
My Journey
Beginning my photography journey almost five years ago, I would have never believed the love I would grow for birth photography and being present in such a life changing event. Being part of so many special moments and stories for families for years to come has been one of my biggest blessings as a creator. The beauty in every woman's birth story and journey deserves to be captured and documented! That is my ultimate goal!
I completed my doula training through DONA International. Having support during birth is such a vital thing! As your doula, you AND your support person will have support from me all through your pregnancy, labor, delivery and weeks after!
I received my certification for birth photography through the world renowned organization, Birth Becomes You. I have also recently been featured on their website/blog and their social media pages! To be certified with them is so important to me!
Preserving priceless memories
I am HUGE on preserving memories! I still have all of my boy's hospital hats that they wore and I will never wash them! I still have locks of their hair from their first haircuts! My husband calls me a "memory hoarder" but I honestly wouldn't have it any other way! That's why I make sure to capture all the precious little details for my clients! I truly value the importance!
