"I feel like doula services are misunderstood by many. Sharea didn't just show up on the day of my birth; she showed up throughout my entire pregnancy. I never felt alone or scared. She wanted updates on how I was doing physically and mentally and also gave me many helpful suggestions. She was just as great as the nurse when it came to providing me with comforting labor techniques as well as when it came time to push. I chose the Photography + Doula package so I not only got photos of my birth, but also maternity photos. The birth of your child is something that should be remembered forever. Sharea captured that day beautifully and it allowed my husband and the others that attended to be in the present with me. What stood out most to me was after I gave birth, my mom, the most old fashioned, "they didn't have that when I..." kind of person, told me that Sharea was amazing and she couldn't have imagined me not having her there. The spoke volumes and made my heart fill with joy. Her services didn't end after she left; she continued to check on me and support me in my first days as a mother. I was struggling with breastfeeding and milk production and she offered me tons of advice and words on encouragement. If I ever have another child, I will 100% have her with me again. I would recommend her to anybody who is considering these service."
